Just an Old Home Remodel

My grandmother sadly passed away last year and I inherited her home through her will. I had always dreamed of living there one day, and I was able to live my dream. The home was old and hadn’t been remodeled so one of the first things I had to tackle was remodeling each room. I started with the bathroom since it was the worst of all rooms. I knew I was going to have to find someone who did shower doors in Essex county NJ, I just had no idea who.

The home was built a long time ago, so a lot of things were outdated or didn’t work. The showers in the bathroom had been the open showers since as long as I could recall. There was also a bathtub that needed to be replaced. I mainly worked on the shower. I laid out my design ideas and one was putting shower doors in the bathroom. Since it had never had then, I didn’t really know where to start with this as a do it yourself project. I called around to installers in Essex county, and found someone who said they could figure something out.

When they came to my home, I showed them the bathroom and the shower. They were stunned at how old the home was and the shower was dated, but the contractor told me that I should save as much of the shower as I possibly can because of the tile work being expensive and how well done it was in the bathroom. I agreed with that and he told me the plan to add the door to the shower. I went with a full glass good because that would look the best in the bathroom and with the shower tiles being able to be seen. It wasn’t long after that, the contractor put in the shower door and the bathroom’s remodel was complete!

The contractor that worked with me on that project, ended up working with me on other bathroom and kitchen projects. He was a helping hand in what I should and could save from the home. I saved a lot of money with his knowledge!
